Our fifth annual Lakewood Trails Garden Social and Plant Swap was held on Saturday, May 2, and was a great success. Over 80 neighbors came to the Saucedo’s backyard to stroll through the garden, look at the fish ponds and browse through the free plants available for sharing. More Photos

East Dallas Is the "Lake and Garden District"
Posted on Apr 7th, 2015
The "East Dallas Is" campaign is designed to create a recognizable brand that describes the East Dallas/White Rock Area.
A coalition made up of The East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, The White Rock Partnership and neighborhood organizations have initiated this campaign to celebrate the eclectic and diverse community that is East Dallas. The ultimate goal is a positive impact on property values, increase in homes built and purchased, increase in traffic to local businesses and a focus on better schools.
Mandatory Watering Guidelines
Posted on Apr 1st, 2015
Just a reminder that the twice-weekly watering schedule began again in April. Residents with street addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) can water on Sundays and Thursdays. Residents with addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays. These restrictions apply to automatic or in-ground irrigation systems and hose-end sprinklers only. Watering is prohibited between 10am and 6pm between April 1 and October 31. Watering by hand, drip irrigation or the use of soaker hoses will be permitted at any time.
New LTNA Facebook Page!
Posted on Feb 19th, 2015
We are happy and excited to announce the launch of our NEW Lakewood Trails Neighborhood Association Facebook so please take a moment to find and “like” our new official LTNA page, as the old Facebook page (LakewoodTrails) has no direct affiliation with the neighborhood association anymore. Our page will contain current information on LTNA and Dallas City events, photos, and gives you another way to reach out to Lakewood Trails NA about your neighborhood concerns.

LTNA Garden Corner
For anyone who has an interest or a passion for gardening, we have a monthly gardening column from our own - LTNA neighborhood Master Gardener, Maggie Saucedo. She will be offering seasonal garden news, information, and “tips” you can use to indulge your inner “Mother Nature” or “Johnny Appleseed.” We will also offer you an opportunity to share your own experiences, information or questions about all things lawn and garden-related! Click on the photo above to read our Lakewood Garden Column for May/June, with some tips on Water Wise Gardening in Texas.
