Lakewood Trails Life
If you are interested in meeting some other Lakewood Trails families, please email the ages of your children and your availability (example: weekday mornings, after school, evenings, weekends) to Neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net. We will connect people with similar aged children and/or availability. We would like to get these play groups set up before summertime.

If you have driven down Williamson recently, you have noticed that the city installed speed bumps between Sperry and Mockingbird. Right now there isn't any striping to warn drivers about the speed bumps, but it should be added in the coming weeks, to make them easier to identify. However, a 20 MPH speed sign has been installed as an advisory for motorists to reduce their speed to 20 MPH when driving over the speed bumps.

Lakewood Trails is a great neighborhood for walking.  You don't have to be reminded that it is very friendly for pet owners walking their dogs. But it is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet as required by Dallas City Ordinance 7-4.8. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. By taking a few simple steps to clean up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of our community, but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in Lakewood Trails.
Additionally, several residents have expressed concern that some individuals allow their dogs to be off the leash and the unleashed dogs have jumped on other residents and/or other pets.   As a reminder, Dallas City Ordinance 7-4.7 requires that dogs must be confined at all times within your personal property or on a leash. For the safety of you, your children, your dogs and other pets, Remember that your dog should always be leashed when walking in Lakewood Trails.
We are proud to be a pet-friendly community that offers a clean and comfortable living environment for everyone – and their pets – to call home.
