| National Learn to Row Day |

White Rock Boathouse invites everyone to National Learn to Row Day, a free event, June 1st, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet the coaches, tour the boathouse, enjoy free snacks,learn to row on a rowing machine AND get out on the waterfor a "test row." Wear athletic gear, bring water, wear sunscreen and come prepared for fun! The event takes place at White Rock Boathouse (the bigboathouse) located on the Southwest Shore of White Rock Lake (near the pumping station / filter building). | Madatory Watering Guidelines |

Just a reminder that the twice-weekly watering schedule became permanent in 2012. Residents with street addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) can water on Sundays and Thursdays. Residents with addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays. These restrictions apply to automatic or in-ground irrigation systems and hose-end sprinklers only. Watering is prohibited between 10am and 6pm between April 1 and October 31.

| 2013 Brush and Bulk Trash Pickup |

Lakewood Trails brush and bulk trash collection weeks for 2013 are the weeks of: Jan 21, Feb 18, Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20, Jun 17, Jul 15, Aug 19, Sept 16, Oct 21, Nov 18, and Dec 16. Items must be set out by 7am on the Monday of collection week, but not earlier than the Thursday before our collection week.

She will be offering seasonal garden news, information, and “tips” you can use to indulge your inner “Mother Nature” or “Johnny Appleseed.” We will also offer you an opportunity to share your own experiences, information or questions about all things lawn and garden-related! | FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up |

LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train tressle. Anyone can help us; just remember to register at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am prior to working.
