Stuffing New Neighbor Welcome Baskets!
Did you know the LTNA Membership Committee has distributed almost 100 Welcome Baskets since May 2011?  Thanks to our Membership Committee and Baker’s Brigade for making this program successful. If you notice a new neighbor has moved to your street, please email so we can deliver a Welcome Basket!
The LTNA Photo Contest winners are now being featured above in the upper right-hand corner of our website. If you do not see the changes, please try CTRL/F5 (PC) or Command/R (Mac) on your keyboard to refresh the images. Thank you to the neighbors who captured images of Lakewood Trails and shared them with all of us! Additional photos are in an album on the ‘Photo Albums’ page, along with photos of all our recent LTNA activities.

Mandatory Watering Guidelines
Posted on Apr 1st, 2014
Just a reminder that the twice-weekly watering schedule began again in April. Residents with street addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) can water on Sundays and Thursdays. Residents with addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays. These restrictions apply to automatic or in-ground irrigation systems and hose-end sprinklers only. Watering is prohibited between 10am and 6pm between April 1 and October 31. Watering by hand, drip irrigation or the use of soaker hoses will be permitted at any time.

LTNA Garden Corner
For anyone who has an interest or a passion for gardening, we have a monthly gardening column from our own - LTNA neighborhood Master Gardener, Maggie Saucedo. She will be offering seasonal garden news, information, and “tips” you can use to indulge your inner “Mother Nature” or “Johnny Appleseed.” We will also offer you an opportunity to share your own experiences, information or questions about all things lawn and garden-related! Would you like some tips about creating a lush, beautiful green lawn in our hot Texas summers? Click on the photo above to read our Lakewood Garden Column for August written by our neighbor, Pat Watson, sharing tips and plant selection ideas to consider in landscaping a backyard pool area.
