If you are interested in meeting some other Lakewood Trails families, please email the ages of your children and your availability (example: weekday mornings, after school, evenings, weekends) to Neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net. We will connect people with similar aged children and/or availability. We would like to get these play groups set up before summertime.

FIRE destroys Lakewood Trails Home
Posted on Apr 20th, 2017
Early on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, our Lakewood Trails neighbor on Redstart, Mary Adams, lost her beloved husband, Tim, their sweet dog Aubrey and her longtime home to a fire. Lakewood Trails Neighborhood Association would like to express condolences to Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Adams family. Mary is overwhelmed by the love and support from friends, family and the entire community.
If you would like to help by making a donation, big or small, to Mary in her efforts to get her life back on track and cope with this tragic loss, a Go Fund Me account has been set up in Mary Adams’ name. Donations can be sent directly to this link: https://www.gofundme.com/maryadamsrelieffund

April 2017 Yard of the Month
Posted on Apr 1st, 2017
Congratulations to to Liz and J.J. Pledger at 6710 Dalhart, Lakewood Trails April 2017 Yard of the Month!

Lakewood Trails is a great neighborhood for walking.  You don't have to be reminded that it is very friendly for pet owners walking their dogs. But it is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet as required by Dallas City Ordinance 7-4.8. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. By taking a few simple steps to clean up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of our community, but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in Lakewood Trails.
Additionally, several residents have expressed concern that some individuals allow their dogs to be off the leash and the unleashed dogs have jumped on other residents and/or other pets.   As a reminder, Dallas City Ordinance 7-4.7 requires that dogs must be confined at all times within your personal property or on a leash. For the safety of you, your children, your dogs and other pets, Remember that your dog should always be leashed when walking in Lakewood Trails.
We are proud to be a pet-friendly community that offers a clean and comfortable living environment for everyone – and their pets – to call home.
