Dallas Companion Animal Project
Join Sheffie Kadane in the effort to help Dallas become a "no kill community". Approximately 200,000 adoptable animals die each year in North Texas's taxpayer-funded animal shelters. The Dallas Companion Animal Project is developing a blueprint to end euthanization of adoptable animals in the City of Dallas. Their goals are for Dallas Animal Services to be able to save every healthy, treatable, and adoptable animal and to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Dallas.
