As is our annual LTNA tradition, on Sunday, December 24, Lakewood Trails neighbors gathered together to show our gratefulness to our Dallas Police Department Northeast Station on Christmas Eve morning. Lakewood Trails neighbors generously donated over $1500 to provide platters of prepared items from Central Market for the 150 officers on duty.  Neighbors also brought homemade dishes to add to the feast for the two shifts of the police staff on duty that day. 
      That morning it was pouring rain. When we arrived at the station the majority of staff were out handling traffic wrecks. But as time went on, a few came back and assured us that the rest of the crew would return to enjoy a hot holiday feast!
      Thank you to everyone who donated time and/or money to make sure that Lakewood Trails was able to give back to those who serve us. We especially thank Bethany Andres for coordinating the Christmas delivery during the busy holiday season. It was very much appreciated by everyone!
