On Monday, March 4, about 50 Lakewood Trails neighbors gathered at the White Rock Ale House for our annual Membership Mixer and Board Election. We gathered to socialize, have some drinks, eat appetizers and elect the 2024 Lakewood Trails Board.

 

Leanne Cannon, LTNA Vice President, gave a brief recap of LTNA's accomplishments, plans for 2024 activities and conducted the 2024 Lakewood Trails Board election. We had some special guests in attendance, including Theron Akin, our neighborhood Dallas Police Officer who reminded us to lock our cars always, as that is the best way to assure that our neighborhood continues to have a low crime rate. Philip Hiatt Haigh, Executive Director of The Loop, updated us on the city trail system and answered questions about the future plans.
