LTNA GARDEN SOCIAL & PLANT SWAP
On Sunday, April 26, our Annual Lakewood Trails Garden Social and Plant Swap was hosted by the LTNA Beautification Committee in Kay Nettles' beautiful backyard.
It was a wonderful success, thanks to all of you who participated! Kay's yard looked gorgeous, the mimosas were flowing, the weather was pleasant, and there were plenty of great plants available for adopting. Neighbors browsed for treasures to enhance their gardens and chatted with fellow nature lovers. Many gardeners brought plants, seeds, and other garden items to share, and there were plenty of delicious snacks and door prizes.

Popsicles on the Playground
Friday, June 12, 2026, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Lakewood Park Playground
You're invited to Popsicles on the Playground!

Join your Lakewood Trails neighbors at Lakewood Park for a relaxed evening to kick off summer. We’ll gather at the playground starting at 6:30pm and stay until the popsicles run out or it gets dark—whichever comes first.

Bring the whole family for sweet treats, playground fun, and good conversation. Kids can cool off with popsicles while parents connect with other families. We also encourage our neighborhood babysitters to join us and meet some of the local kids!

Lakewood Trails will provide the popsicles. Since we don’t have the pavilion reserved, feel free to bring lawn chairs. You’re also welcome to bring your own beverages—just please remember that alcohol is not permitted in Dallas city parks.

It’s the perfect casual way to celebrate the end of the school year, make new friends, and enjoy a beautiful summer evening together.
We hope to see you there!

Singles, couples and families are welcome. Kids love using the grabbers and take pride in picking up litter. Teens may earn community service hours and may flex their hours.  If you are interested in joining our team or need more information please email Chairperson Pat Watson, Neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net or call her at 214 531 1299.
