The purpose of the C.H.I.P.S. (Citizens Helping In Parking Solutions) program is to increase awareness of the challenges facing the disabled and to ensure handicap parking spaces are available when needed. You can be eligilbe to patrol by receiving the C.H.I.P.S. training. You must attend the entire class to be eligible to patrol. If you would like to attend this training, you MUST RSVP with Officer Joe Schutz #9967 by email at joseph.schutz@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us no later than Monday April 1st, 2013.
