In cooperation with the City of Dallas OPERATION BEAUTIFICATION efforts, the LTNA Alley Clean-up Committee has targeted several alleys which are the oldest in our neighborhood to focus on. These are the alleys between Mockingbird & Inverness and Inverness & Santa Maria. There are areas along these alleys that are overgrown with trees, shrubbery, weeds and other items. City Code Enforcement states that the occupant or owner is responsible for keeping alleys clear of obstructions.

On May 19th the LTNA Alley Clean-up Volunteers will help the owners of these overgrown areas to clean-up the alleys, particularly the elderly who cannot physically or financially afford to do the work. If you can’t volunteer with the targeted LTNA Alley Clean-Up on May 19th, please take some time to spruce up your own section of alley. Make sure your trash and recycle cans are secure and the area is trash free. Trim tree branches and bushes so they don’t scratch your neighbors’ cars as they come and go. Bulk Trash pickup for our neighborhood is scheduled for the week after May 19th (the 3rd Monday of each month). Please don’t put out your bulk trash earlier than the prior Thursday per city ordinance.  Help keep our neighborhood beautiful!
