FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up
Saturday, October 12th, 2013, 8am at FTLOTL offices, 1152 North Buckner Blvd, Suite 123
LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train tressle.
Anyone can help us; just remember to register at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am prior to working. A continental breakfast and clean up supplies are provided. For more information or to join our team contact Pat Watson at 214 531 1299.
V.I.P. (Voluteers in Patrol) Training
Monday, October 21st, 2013, 7pm to 9:30pm at 9915 E. NOrthwest Highway
The next V.I.P. training is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21st, 2013, Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013, and Thursday, October 24th, 2013, at the Northeast Operations Division located at 9915 E. Northwest Highway.
You must attend all 7.5 hours of this class to be eligible to patrol. If you would like to attend this training, YOU MUST RSVP BY EMAIL with Officer Joe Schutz joseph.schutz@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us by Wednesday October 16th, 2013
Please bring a photo copy of your Drivers License or State ID and Social Security Card.

LTNA Annual Halloween Block Party
Saturday, October 26th, 2013, 3pm to 6pm at Sperry & Santa Barbara
It’s time to celebrate the Fall season with your Lakewood Trails Neighbors at our Annual Halloween Block Party! We will have pony rides, bounce houses, DJ, costume contest for all ages, kid goodie bags, gypsy fortune teller, along with local firefighters and police officers with their vehicles to tour. The Hamburger Man will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. We will have sides, desserts and beverages for all (including beer and wine). Everything is included in your meal ticket while supplies last. Meal tickets are $10 each and include 2 raffle tickets, kids under 12 eat free! Feel free to bring lawn chairs and other beverages.
The raffle prizes include exciting gifts from local donators like Penne Pomodoro, Barley House, Lakewood 1st & 10, Blow Salon, TCBY, Crème de la Cookie, Whole Foods, Logos Bookstore and more!
