FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up
Saturday, October 8th, 2016, 8am at FTLOTL offices, 1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123
LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train trestle.
Anyone can help us; just remember to register at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am prior to working. A continental breakfast and clean up supplies are provided. For more information or to join our team contact Pat Watson at 214 531 1299.
7th Annual LTNA Halloween Party
Saturday, October 15th, 2016, 4pm to 7pm at 6700 block of Inverness
There will be pony rides, petting zoo, DJ, and a fortune teller. Don’t forget to dress up! We’ll hold a costume contest for all ages and creatures with local celebrities as judges. The Hamburger Man will serve hamburgers and hot dogs, while the snack tables will feature sides, desserts, and beverages for all (including beer and wine).
All of this is included with a meal ticket for $5 per person (adults or kids) or $5.50 with a credit card! To avoid the lines, you can pre-pay online until Sunday, October 9th by going to our Online Payments. And while you are there, you can join or renew your LTNA membership for just $20 per household. Our 2017 membership drive kicks off at our Halloween Block Party.
We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius invitation shortly to get volunteers to help with drinks, snacks, set up and clean up. Please participate if you are able!
