SoPac Trail Clean Up
Saturday, October 10th, 2026, 8:30am at SoPac Trail
Our clean up team picks up litter on the SoPac Trail adjacent to our neighborhood on the second Saturday of each month, starting at 8:30am. Our clean up site begins under the Mockingbird Bridge continuing to the Trestle Bridge near White Rock Park. The clean up takes about an hour.

Singles, couples and families are welcome. Kids love using the grabbers and take pride in picking up litter. Teens may earn community service hours and may flex their hours.  If you are interested in joining our team or need more information please email Chairperson Pat Watson, Neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net or call her at 214 531 1299.
Annual Halloween Party
Saturday, October 24th, 2026, 3am to 6am at Redstart Lane
Please join us for an afternoon of fun on Redstart Lane, from 3pm-6pm!

Police and firefighters will be on site with a fire truck and a patrol car for kids to explore. We’ll have a petting zoo, pony rides, fortune teller, D.J., cotton candy, a costume parade, and the Hamburger Man will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Beverages will include water, soft drinks, juice boxes, plus wine for adults.

THE PRICE OF A MEAL TICKET IS $12.00 PER PERSON.
TICKETS MUST BE PRE-PAID ONLINE BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20.

ACTION ITEMS:
  • Pre-pay online for your burgers/hot dogs by Tuesday, October 20th. You can pay at LakewoodTrails.net  (“Contact Us/Online Payments”) or Venmo @LakewoodTrailsNA (note Halloween Party). If you do not pre-purchase a ticket, we cannot guarantee you burgers/hot dogs. You will pickup your pre-paid meal tickets at the Membership Tent at the party.
  • Go to SignUpGenius and volunteer to help! We need neighbors to bring chips, cookies, drinks, ice and/or to help with set up and clean up. This party takes contributions from everyone in the neighborhood to make it successful!
  • Pay for your 2027 Lakewood Trails Neighborhood Association Membership prior to attending the party (same payment options as above). Donations starting at $30 per calendar year, or become a Friend of LTNA for $80. New neighbors should complete a 2027 Membership Form to drop off at the party. LTNA membership supports all neighborhood activities, such as the Halloween party and entitles households to belong to our LTNA GroupMe and be eligible for LTNA's Yard of the Month. Households who pay for their 2027 LTNA Membership before or at the Halloween Party will be entered in a raffle for a $100 restaurant gift card.
THE COSTUME PARADE WILL START AT 5 p.m.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone's costumes!
