FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up
Saturday, November 8th, 2014, 8am at FTLOTL offices, 1152 North Buckner Blvd, Suite 123
LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train tressle.
Anyone can help us; just remember to register at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am prior to working. A continental breakfast and clean up supplies are provided. For more information or to join our team contact Pat Watson at 214 531 1299.

Is your trash can full at the end of the week? Did you know that you can reduce the waste carried to landfills by composting more and throwing away less? This program teaches the composting process, the different types and methods of composting, as well as how to compost and its importance.

Bulk Trash Pickup Week

Lakewood Trails brush and bulk trash collection weeks for 2014 are the weeks of: Jan 20, Feb 17, Mar 17, Apr 21, May 19, Jun 16, Jul 21, Aug 18, Sept 15, Oct 20, Nov 17, and Dec 15. Items must be set out by 7am on the Monday of collection week, but not earlier than the Thursday before our collection week. More Information
Thanksgiving Meal for Station 55 Firefighters

For the fifth year in a row, LTNA is providing a Thanksgiving meal for the Station 55 firefighters who are on duty that day, and a Christmas meal for the Dallas DPD Northeast Substation, both 1st and 2nd shifts. If you would like to contribute money to the meals, you can either drop off or mail cash or check to Maggie Saucedo, 6729 Santa Maria.
