Dallas Water Utilities Lawn Care Seminar

Come and learn from local experts the ways you can maintain a healthy lawn with less frequent watering. Discover the most effective and earth-friendly way to care for your lawn at Richland College’s Fannin Hall (12800 Abrams Road, Dallas, TX 75243) on Saturday, February 2 from 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. For directions, click here to see a campus map.
Gail Donaldson, a turf and irrigation specialist, and Water Conservation Manager for the City of Allen, will teach you how to care for your lawn like an expert. Subjects covered will include basic care for your lawn, common turf problems, how to water most efficiently and much more.
Following the presentation there will be a question and answer session with licensed irrigators on minor sprinkler system repairs. Also, there will be drawing for bags of Green Sense organic fertilizer donated by Rohde’s Nursery & Nature Store.

FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up

LTNA has been invited to participate in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. We start by registering at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am. A continental breakfast and clean up supplies are provided. LT Kids Valentine Cookie Swap

To celebrate our love for our neighbors it's a cookie swap with a twist!
Bring your favorite baked good to share. Baked goods can be homemade or store bought. We will have fun playing and enjoying some of our delicious treats. Then we will package the other sweets and deliver to some of our long time Lakewood Trails residents. Bring your scooters or wagons to help deliver the sweets.

Williamson Road Tree Planting
Saturday, February 23rd, 2013, 9:30am at Williamson between Mockingbird and Inverness
The City of Dallas will be delivering a new tree to us, to fill in an empty spot on the first block of Williamson between Mockingbird and Inverness. The delivery date is Saturday, February 23rd, around 9:30 to 10:00 am. If you are available and interested, we could use some help digging a hole, planting the tree, mulching it and watering it. We will also take the opportunity to clean up any trash on the easement area. If you can help out, email Garden@LakewoodTrails.net.
