FTLOTL Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up

LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train tressle.
Anyone can help us; just remember to register at the For the Love of the Lake Office (1152 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 123) at 8am prior to working. A continental breakfast and clean up supplies are provided. For more information or to join our team contact Pat Watson at 214 531 1299.
LT Kids Lemonade Stand
Tuesday, March 11th, 2014, 3pm to 6pm at outside the Preston home, 7058 Chantilly Lane
LT Kids is hosting a lemonade stand, with proceeds to be donated to the Officer Burns fund. (Dallas Police Officer Joshua Burns ir recovering from gunshot injuries incurred while responding to a 911 call in Northeast Dallas.) Please stop by the Preston home at 7058 Chantilly Lane to buy a drink or snack and support this cause.

Dallas Police Department Northeast Patrol invites you to attend a Cook Out and Fundraider benefiting Officer Joshua Burns. Officer Burns was injured after responding to a 911 call in Northeast Dallas and is currently recovering from gun shot injuries. Flyer
They are asking for a minimum $8.00 donation for each meal to assist Officer Joshua Burns. They will have BBQ, Fried Catfish, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Tossed Salad, Bottled Water and Soft Drinks. You can dine in or carry out. If you’re at a business or office location that needs a large order delivered, let them know, if you would like to pre order for Friday delivery.
Officer Burns will make two appearances: at 11:30 and at 5:30. Don't miss the 5:30 appearance, where the LT Kids will be in attendance to make a presentation to him on the funds they raised doing their lemonade stand on Tuesday.
