Blue Ribbons!
Sunday, May 1st, 2016, 4pm at the Trees on Williamson
Lakewood Trails will be decorating the Williamson Trees with blue ribbons in honor of our Police Department!  Bring the kids and come join us to tie ribbons on the trees! If you are interested in decorating the trees in your yard, you are welcome to stop by the front porch of 7075 Chantilly to pick up blue ribbon to decorate one of your trees. Please take only one length of blue ribbon so we have plenty to share with all of our Lakewood Trails neighbors!

Operation Beautification
Saturday, May 21st, 2016, 9am at Dalhart entrance to the SoPac Trail
Saturday, May 21, 2016, is the date for OPERATION BEAUTIFICATION, a citywide Community Cleanup, a collaboration between neighborhood groups and the City of Dallas. To help participate in this effort, Amy Applebaum, a long-time Lakewood Trails neighbor, has volunteered to pick up trash on the SoPac Trail as part of this effort. She will be at the Dalhart entrance to the trail at 9:00am and would love to have some other neighbors join her!

If you can't join Amy, we encourage Lakewood Trail residents to clean up brush and weeds from your alley and trim garden areas. As encouragement, the City of Dallas will be providing an out-of-schedule bulk trash collection next week. The Bulk Trash from Operation Beautification will be picked up no later than Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
If you know of any neighbors who may need assistance in cleaning up the alley behind their homes, email neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net. Let’s continue to make Lakewood Trails a beautiful place to live!
