City of Dallas Project Beautification Day
Saturday, May 20th, 2017, All Day Event at Lakewood Trails!
The City of Dallas is sponsoring Operation Beautification to encourage citizens to make their neighborhoods cleaner and more beautiful.  Lakewood Trails Neighborhood Association is part of this effort and we encourage neighbors to clean up their alleys behind their houses, or help neighbors who may want help in making their own areas more safe and presentable.  Something as simple as the trimming of overgrown plants, shrubs or trees or cleaning up and disposing of dead leaves, brush, etc. would make our alleys safer and pleasant to drive through.

The City is asking for “before and after” photos to show what we’ve done.  If you want to participate in this clean-up effort, you can send photos of your "before and after" efforts to Neighbors@LakewoodTrails.net. If you need trash bags or gloves, they will be available on the front porch of 6729 Santa Maria and you are welcome to come and pick some up as long as supply lasts.

The City Sanitation Dpt. will have an extra bulky trash and brush pick-up next week. The Bulk Trash from Operation Beautification will be picked up no later than Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

We encourage you to do your part in making Lakewood Trails more beautiful. It’s a perfect time for some Spring Cleaning!
