You're invited to Popsicles on the Playground, a fun and refreshing way to kick off the start of summer with your neighbors! Join us on Friday, June 6, at Lakewood Park, from 6:30pm until we run out of treats or it starts to get dark - whichever comes first.
 
Join us for a relaxed evening filled with sweet treats, good conversation, and a chance to connect with others in Lakewood Trails. Your children can enjoy popsicles and hang out on the playground, while you visit with other families from the neighborhood. Meet us at the Lakewood Park playground for a casual gathering where everyone is welcome. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the end of school, make new friends, and enjoy the sunshine together. 
 
Lakewood Trails will provide popsicles for everyone to enjoy. Please note that we don't have the pavilion reserved, so feel free to bring lawn chairs and your own adult beverages if you'd like—just remember that in Dallas city parks, it is prohibited to possess or consume alcoholic beverages. Bring your friends, your family, and your summer spirit—we hope to see you there!

Our clean up team picks up litter on the SoPac Trail adjacent to our neighborhood on the second Saturday of each month, starting at 8:30am. Our clean up site begins under the Mockingbird Bridge continuing to the Trestle Bridge near White Rock Park. The clean up takes about an hour.   

 

Singles, couples and families are welcome. Kids love using the grabbers and take pride in picking up litter.
