For those interested in being part of the parade, line up begins at 9:15  at Lakewood @ Cambria. The parade kicks off with a police escort at 10:00am. There is a Fun Run prior to the parade, at 8am (approx 1.2 miles) starting at Lakewood Blvd and Cambria and finishing by the tennis courts at Tokalon. Check out full details on their website.

The "Parade Grounds" at the end of the parade is where refreshments are served. Soft drinks, watermelon, and snow cones are provided for all. This is also where the awards are given to the many participants in the parade based on many different categories. Buttons with the current theme are distributed every year, and many Lakewood residents have a vast collection of  buttons from years past. This year's theme is "Lakewood Makes History".

 

LTNA participates in the Adopt-a -Shoreline project with “For The Love Of The Lake.” We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. Our clean up area at White Rock starts at the corner of Winsted Dr and Garland Rd and continues north to the train tressle.
