On Sunday, April 26, our Annual Lakewood Trails Garden Social and Plant Swap was hosted by the LTNA Beautification Committee in Kay Nettles' beautiful backyard at 6935 Sperry. 

 

It was a wonderful success, thanks to all of you who participated! Kay's yard looked gorgeous, the mimosas were flowing, the weather was pleasant, and there were plenty of great plants available for adopting. Neighbors browsed for treasures to enhance their gardens and chatted with fellow nature lovers.

 

Many gardeners brought plants, seeds, and other garden items to share, and there were plenty of delicious snacks and door prizes — including 2 grand prizes: a huge "gardener's gift basket" and a $100 NHG gift certificate. The grand prizes were furnished by our Yard of the Month sponsor, Rusty Allen of North Haven Gardens. Thanks to everyone who works hard to make this annual event such a wonderful Lakewood Trails tradition.
